:happybirthday: Congratulations!! I remember the pride I felt when I opened up my envelope. I was very proud of our country, our state, and my fellow citizens.

We'd be very interested in your first carry experience. Where did you go, how did you feel, that kind of stuff.

Congrats! Just out of curiosity, is the permit number over 200,000?

Congrats and yes, post up a partial permit number. I'm also wondering how close we are to 200k carriers.

Hey, thanks everyone!

First concealed carry experience went smoothly (as expected). I carried my usual knife (a 2 and 3/4 inch folder, Cold Steel) and a knife I've been waiting to carry (a 13 inch folder, blade 7 inches. Also Cold Steel). I also carried my Ruger SR22 in a deep conceal shoulder holster. As I've open carried before, the feeling of a gun wasn't anything new, though I did notice less stares since nobody knew I had it lol. Went to a friends house for dinner, and then to his cousin's wedding reception. All in all, it feels good to be able to carry any way I want!

Unfortunately the number is still under 200,000. We're about 900 away

That's great to hear that we are less than 1k away from 200k!

Looks like we'll hit it before the end of the year.

Friend of mine's son just got his. Less than a hundred to go to get to 200,000. Probably already there.
