ccw wait time

Post Number:#1  Postby madmatt1006 » Tue Feb 05, 2013 9:46 pm

Went out in todays mail. 2/5/13. will update as soon as i get a result.

UPDATED: Got a response in the mail today. Letter was dated the 14th. I have to make an appeal because apparently the abbreviation "CTH" is not acceptable for "County Highway"!?! :?: So now I have to go see the DMV to straighten out my address, ( I can't do it on line because I hold a CDL  ) and then send in the appeal paperwork and wait another week or more. :banghead: I guess I shouldn't complain too much since the response came back to me in 9 business days.

I will update again when more info is received.

It should arrive any day now :alarmclock:

Glad you got it! There were a number of these DMV address issues when they first started the licensing in November of 2011. People had not updated their DMV address to match their new one, hence a rejection.

Congratulations, it wasn’t all that long considering you had to resubmit.

The CCW application should be filled out EXACTLY as everything appears on your driver license. Now, if your DL had "CTH" on it, it should have worked...

My dl was correct with my current address but I have moved 3 times in the last year. The address that the dot had on file was one of my addresses from a previous residence. I had to move back in with my father to help take care of him ( 80 years old) thats how i ended up with a correct address on the dl but not on the dot files. I managed to get it straightend out with a phone call and without having to get a duplicate license.
