I am a little slow sometimes, just checked out the Google Map and love the idea. Not sure I would go with green for those who openly support CC or OC but that's just me. Great tool and will be a bookmark on my computer!

I'm willing to do what the majority of Armed Badgers want to do. Here are my thoughts:

Because allowing concealed weapons is the default, even strong gun rights supporters might not bother posting "allowed" signs. I don't think posting an allowed sign necessarily means you support it more than others that don't post anything. Also, I like the idea of having the map serve a single purpose. I don't want someone to accidentally misunderstand something by reading the map wrong. There are a lot of colorblind people too, so we'd have to make sure the comments specify which way the location leans. I'm not totally against it; those are just my thoughts.

By the way, I picked blue for a reason.

i wouldn't post the businesses that openly carry. i think the map would get too cluttered.

i think it is perfect the way it is!

Yeah, I tested that on my Optimus V (Android) right after I created it. Of course, I mostly use my phone to find places I want to go TO, not places I want to stay away FROM. Hehe.

I simply love the Google map. Great job!

Thanks! It'll be interesting to see how things go as November approaches and it starts to fill up, and again when we later have our permits and start really using it.

Yes, this will be very interesting. I will have to keep my eyes open for stores posting.

When carrying it is easy to miss the posted sign, 5"X7" isn't that big, add to it that everyone uses their doors and entry ways for advertising meant to stand out more than the next.

I have walked up to a resturant, this was Pizza Hut in Nebraska, only to find out that I needed to turn around and go back to my car to disarm, I was with my wife, kids, and extended family at the time. It was frustrating and inconvient, but it was the right thing to do. Had I had a tool like this on my phone I would have known in advance and could have decided either to suggest somewhere else to eat or disarmed prior to getting out of the car saving the made up excuse as to why I needed to go back to the car.

Again GREAT Job :punk:

Ask and you shall receive. Here it is. I knew I would run across it sooner or later. Good to see this.

Now that we have a better idea of what to expect, how about a tweak to the divisions to even things out a little?
