Good point!

And to think the NRA gives them ad space in the magazines. Makes me feel like I have a ice pick between the shoulder blades.

All Harbor Freights are posted. I talked with the manager at one of their stores. He showed me his permit and was not happy with the company's decision. Maybe the NRA needs to hear from it's members.

Wrong. Ours in Eau Claire is not and this manager says the company policy is to discourage posting. He says some store managers do it and try to blame it on the company. He recommends calling corporate and complaining.

Just went to a Harbor Freight location in another state and didn't see a posting. Good thing too; it was in a not-so-nice area.

certainly some disconnect as I have seen ads in other shooting and gun magazines from HF and advertisement dollars are hard to turn down or conflict with the bottom line......

This is not a corporate thing. It is strictly a local manager pushing it off on the company. I encountered the same thing at the Subway on Hwy 53 in Chippewa Falls. It is posted. When I tried to speak to a manager about it, I was told their hands were tied and that all Subways are posted by corporate edict. Odd thing is that it is the only one I've ever been in that is.

It's usually just a manager who won't take responsibility for his/her actions.

As you should, the NRA has been screwing gun owners since 1934, when they supported the passage of the NFA of 1934, then again in 1968,again in 1986, and again in 1994. I left then, after being a lifer since 1984 ,in 1997 when, as a trainer the NRA prohibited me from saying the word "weapon", and to be replaced with the word "firearm". Yup PC boondoggling at its best.

I refused to give the NRA a dime, until they do two things. Work actively to repeal the NFA of 1934 in its entirety, and second repeal the 1968 Firearm Owners Protection Act along with the Hughes Amendment of 1986. But we all know that one should not hold their breath on that happening.
