reason # 387 for carrying a firearm

Post Number:#1  Postby oliverclotheshoff » Sun Oct 05, 2014 1:14 pm

The kids, dog, and I went for a stroll in the woods to start getting ready for gun deer season and on our way out we saw a wolf walking straight towards us down my walk in trail. I yelled for the dog and told the kids to stay behind me and drew my pistol by this time the wolf stopped and was starring at us. He wasn't moving or running away so I fired 4 rounds in its general direction to put some fear back into him which spooked him off. All in all it was a rather nervous moment with a good outcome.
