See quite a few at Eau Claire businesses, but that just makes my list of places to shop smaller.

It s been nearly 2 years, thought I would resurrect this...

I've only seen a few places posted, less than 5 (outside of govt, nursing homes and the like). Given my hermit status that isn't saying much.

You folks seeing many places posted? Any signs coming down?

I've quit going back to check on places that I've already warned for posting. If they ever want my business they can un-post and then let me know. Otherwise I'll wait for them to go out of business and check with the next owner.

I do see a trend of businesses that previously posted now taking down the signs and now not posting. The last two posts in our Posted Map forum have been information about businesses taking their signs down.

I've been seeing some postings coming down as well (I can think of a bank offhand).

I haven't seen any new ones going up, but the ones that did post are still there. The ones that are posted are brain dead and you cant even talk to them about it.

I have seen 2 local restaurants that were posted take down their signs.

Thought I'd bring this back to life.

Still don't see many signs. Nursing homes, hospitals, and such do post. Seems like there was one restaurant recently.

Are you seeing fewer than years ago?

I don’t look for them anymore, so I don’t know. I just carry everywhere except schools, post office, and medical buildings which I know are posted. The clinic I go to is not posted. The doctors there are big time gun rights people. I have carried while visiting in a hospital because I forgot about it until I was 6 floors up. Oh well, I wasn’t going back down to disarm.

There could be signs out there that I'm not seeing. I no longer spend any time searching all over the front of a building for any signs.

The local restaurant that used to be our family favorite has lost thousands of dollars of our business since my son noticed a little (3"x3"?) sign that is not even visible to me. I can't understand a business turning away customers, but we've found another favorite restaurant.
