Printable Targets

Post Number:#1  Postby JerTech » Fri Aug 12, 2011 12:48 pm

After seeing how convenient bsczar1's printable targets were, I decided to make some of my own. I figure I might as well share them just in case anyone else finds them useful.

If you print them on 8 1/2 x 11 paper with .5 inch margins left/right and .25 inch margins top/bottom, the grid lines should be a half inch apart. Depending on your printer, you might have to fudge the margin numbers to make it precise.

Enjoy!

Anybody do a cost analysis? Printer cartridges are pretty expensive.

Just leave it on your computer screen - then you won't have to waste ink!
A projector also works. :smrapid:

Updated so that the rings actually line up at the 1/2 inch marks. This is just a little wider, so use .25 inch margins on all four sides.

Mr1911, you are...scary.

Jertech, thanks for the targets. I printed some off.

Targets you say? Many of these were targets that I made to help promote a specific website some 10 years back (upper half). These will cover many types of shooting.

For those targets with lots of ink, make a copy and then take them to the local print shop and burn up their ink at 10 cents a copy.

A friend painted a beautiful mural on her garage door years ago. I said I never knew she was an artist. She said, "I'm not. I bought an overhead projector for $5 at a yard sale." She projected a slide of her husband's street rod on the garage door and traced it.
I would have never thought to do that.
